Since 2014, Burlington USD #244 has maintained a Bullying Notification System.  This tool allows students, parents, and patrons the ability to call, text, or email the school about bullying acts that occur at our schools.   We understand there are times when some do not wish to come forward in a face-to-face setting.   This tool allows a person to share their concerns with a school official.  In turn, the school will have an awareness of potential situations that it might not normally know about for a multitude of reasons.   

In the end, the district hopes that this type of resource will help us reach our goal of eliminating bullying in our schools.  We have an open-door policy for students and parents to come in and visit with us about all concerns, not just bullying.  Together, students, parents, and the school district can have a safe school system for teachers to teach and students to learn.
