Part-Time Enrollment Policy: USD 244 Board Policy JBC – Part-time students may enroll with the board’s permission if they complete all paperwork in a timely fashion and are in attendance no later than September 1st. Part-time students may be admitted only to the extent that staff, facilities, equipment, and supplies are available and the students follow the district’s student conduct policies and rules. Enrollment Policy for Non-Resident Students: Burlington USD #244 held a public hearing regarding the proposed Board of Education Policy JBCC concerning open enrollment provisions on December 11, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the USD 244 Administrative Office located at 301 Neosho Street, Burlington, Kansas 66839. At the hearing, a representative of the board presented the board’s proposal for the policy and the board was available to hear testimony regarding the proposed policy.
