 The Vision........... Picture this in our community...It's three o'clock and school is about to dismiss. Instead of heading home to an empty house, many of the children at school are headed to the 21st Century Community Learning Center for the after school program. Three 5th grade students rush off to a meeting to learn tips on tutoring 2nd graders to read better, because tomorrow they will become "reading buddies" for the younger children. Other students are going to drama class taught by 3 high school students interested in theater. After a healthy snack a group of students are bussed to the local recreation center for dance, twirling and basketball practice. |
 The Mission....... The mission of the Burlington 21st Century Community Learning Center is to provide a positive before/after school program and summer program to keep children safe, out of trouble and actively learning. |
